Announcing Our Summer 2012 Season

Hello HRST Fans and Community,

We are proud to announce our summer 2012 season!

Bug
by Tracy Letts
directed by Sarah Batista-Pereira
produced by Aaron Graham-horowitz, Senan Ebrahim, and John Pulice

Agnes lives alone in her motel room, hiding from her past. Peter walks alone through the city, hiding from the war. R.C. brings them together. Goss pulls them apart. But the bugs are buzzing, and there’s only one way out.

Winner of the 2004 Lucille Lortell Award for Outstanding Play, this tale of love, insanity, and other drugs calls for 2 men, 2 women, and one neutral, and will be a claustrophobic journey for the hot summer months.
Performances run June 30th - July 10th, final dates/times TBD.

Emma
by Jane Austen, Adapted by Michael Fry
directed by Maya Sugarman
produced by Aaron Graham-horowitz, Senan Ebrahim, and John Pulice

On a rainy London day, five friends bring to life one of the best-loved romances of all time. A play within a play, this unique adaptation retains the wit and charm of the beloved novel with new insight and creativity. Actors will be challenged to portray a variety of characters as they bring to life a story of matchmaking, love, and deceit.
Performances run July 14th - July 23th, final dates/times TBD.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
by Clark Gesner and John Gordon
directed by Ashley Kaupert, music directed by Dave Sawicki
produced by Aaron Graham-horowitz, Senan Ebrahim, and John Pulice

The only thing wrong with Charlie Brown is… well, everything, as his sister, his friends, and even his dog constantly remind him. Inspired by the classic comic strip
Peanuts, this musical is a whimsical romp through the trials and tribulations, lunchtime and baseball games, of this beloved cast of juvenile characters.
Performances run July 28th - August 6th, final dates/times TBD. NOTE: This show will be reprised during Opening Days 2012! More details to follow!
